We make  Het Stadsdorp

Wij zijn een groepje bewoners van het WG-terrein en nemen deel aan het netwerk van de Binnenbuurt WG, dat weer een onderdeel is van Stadsdorp VondelHelmers. Centraal in het stadsdorp staat goed nabuurschap.

Van 17 tot 23 juni organiseert Amsterdam de jaarlijkse internationale conferentie "We make The City", met als motto "Een betere stad van, voor en door iedereen”. https://wemakethe.city/nl/

Wij willen als stadsdorp graag aansluiten op "We make The City" door workshops te organiseren, waarin de bewoners samen met kunstenaars aan de slag gaan om bijvoorbeeld foto's, tekeningen, schilderijen, houtsculpturen te maken die tentoon worden gesteld op het WG-terrein. 

Wij zijn op zoek naar enthousiaste medebewoners, die later dit jaar samen met ons een bruisende week willen organiseren en denken aan getalenteerden en/of kunstenaars die een workshop willen geven, muzikanten die willen komen spelen op de feestelijke afsluiting, het inrichten van kraampjes met kunst, hapjes.

As Stadsdorp, we would like to contribute to "We make The City" by organizing workshops  later this year, in which the residents can work with artists to, e.g., make photos, drawings, paintings, and wood sculptures, that will be exhibited on the WG-terrein.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who want to contribute to make this lively week happen with us. We would like to get in touch with  talented people and / or artists who want to give a workshop, musicians who want to come and play at the festive closing, setting up stalls with art and food.
